The Sale of Wine to Minors is Prohibited by Law
The age at which wines may be sold and delivered to persons is legislated in each country. In the Republic of South Africa, United Kingdom and the European Union wines may be sold and delivered only to persons who are at least 18 years of age. In the United States of America wines may be sold and delivered only to persons who are at least 21 years of age. By ordering from the Website you affirm that you are at least of the applicable legal age and that the person to whom your wine will be delivered is also of applicable legal age. When the wines are delivered, the person receiving delivery may be required to show identification proving that he or she is of applicable legal age. Intellectual Property Rights
All the content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, icons, designs, colours, layout and trademarks are the intellectual property of Cape Wholesale Beverages and its associates or licensed to Cape Wholesale Beverages and as such protected by South African and International Intellectual Property Law.

Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa and MasterCard.
Credit Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for Cape Wholesale Beverages via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by Cape Wholesale Beverages separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
Responsibility
Cape Wholesale Beverages takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
